Oonagh Barry is the dedicated Community Engagement Officer for our project. As a staff member of Atlantic Technological University Oonagh has spent the past 10 years working in an academic library and has a postgrad diploma in Library Management and a Bachelor of Arts in History, Politics and Sociology.

Through these endeavours, Oonagh brings a wealth of experience in fostering community connections. In her personal time, Oonagh lives close to work having moved to the Westside area of Galway in 2014 and is heavily involved with local community groups aimed at improving the local environment, she further enjoys finding ways to shorten her commute even further.

She loves the area and the people—and is excited to play a role in bridging the gap between the project’s goals and the community's needs.
